Ruth Gilchrist, Uganda
Ruth is currently based in Glasgow, working as a Women and Family Worker for Dowanvale Church, in Partick, but is in touch with Uganda most days! She is involved in coordinating support for a small group of young mamas and their children, in Uganda. These mums used to sleep on the streets and were caught up in prostitution and drugs. They are currently supported in practical ways to help transform their lives, though it is only the Lord God who can bring complete transformation and we commit the work and the girls to Him.
